Conifers

Conifers group together trees and shrubs that have needle-shaped leaves. The foliage of conifers is not sensitive to frost or drought and therefore remains persistent throughout the year. Conifers are widespread and occur naturally in all habitats where they are generally dominant. The tallest, widest, and oldest trees are all conifers. Depending on the species, they reach sizes between 1 meter and over 115 meters.
