Palm trees

With their arched, supple, finely divided leaves, palm trees have a special appearance. Native to the tropics and subtropics, palm trees grow both outdoors and in well-protected coastal areas. Elsewhere, grow them in large pots that will be overwintered in the home or greenhouse. Some palms will allow you to plant them in the ground in cold regions, but they will require good drainage.
