Description:
A dwarf species, the musa ornata pink flower is very easy to grow. It produces sumptuous purple inflorescences as well as bluish leaves.
Banana trees are very greedy, the use of a 20+20+20+OE type fertilizer (in garden centers) is recommended.
Cultivation of banana trees in apartments:
Growing banana plants indoors often causes the plant to die because the air is too dry.
One technique is to grow your banana tree on a tray filled with vermiculite (available on the site) or pozzolan and a few pieces of charcoal. Add water to moisten everything well. Place your banana trees on it. Add water when the vermiculite dries out on the surface.
The heat of the apartment will cause a slow evaporation and will thus create a tropical micro climate without damaging your furniture.
