Description:

The polka dot tree is a small shrub with decorative foliage. It bears slightly thorny branches covered with 5 to 8 centimeters long leaves of light green color.

In May June, it produces a bloom of pretty little pale yellow flowers grouped in bouquets or solitary. It attracts birds and insects just like, among others, the buddleia davidii

Very resistant to cold and severe frosts, the caragana is to be used as a windbreak, in hedges, in beds or isolated in the garden. It supports very well situations exposed to winds and resists very well to drought.
