Description:

Zantedeschia aethiopica is evergreen in climates with adequate rainfall and temperatures, and deciduous in drier regions.

In the wild, it grows naturally along water points. It is 0.6 to 1 m tall, with dark green broad leaves in large clumps up to 45 cm long.

The inflorescences, produced in spring, are large and bloom in spring, summer and autumn, with a pure white flower measuring up to 25 cm with a yellow spadix in its center. The flower produces a light and sweet fragrance.

This plant is perfectly adapted to humid environments but also likes in the ground for your beds, isolated or for borders. It is widely used by florists in churches and for wedding bouquets.
