Description:
Strelitzia of reasonable size, it forms a tuft of stems at the ends of which, from winter to spring, appear green spathes, 8 to 12 centimeters long, nuanced with purple and orange, protecting flowers of 3 10 centimeters long with orange calyx and blue corolla.
This gorgeous perennial gets its name from the shape of its flowers, which resemble a bird’s head.
It is possible to grow this plant in an apartment provided you provide it with as much light as possible.
