The Cape plumbago is a shrub with a bushy habit offering a multitude of blue flowers.
Its flowering is spectacular and long, it extends from the beginning of summer to the end of autumn.
This shrub, with rapid growth, reaches a height between 0.90 and 1.20 meters but it can reach 2 meters in all directions.
It will find its place in all types of soils, it prefers normal soil, rather dry in winter and cool in summer.
It is to be exposed to the sun to offer a perfect flowering, placed in a situation of partial shade the flowering will be less.
