Description:
Musa acuminata is one of the main wild bananas from which most cultivars with edible fruits originate. This dwarf banana tree produces seed-filled fruit. It can measure up to 3 meters but a culture in pot indoors will maintain it at a height of 1 meter.

The wild banana tree is not resistant to frost and can only be exposed to it for very short periods.
