Description:

Tree with a spreading habit, it often forms several stems. Like all members of the genus Cercis, this essence produces a particular flowering; the very colorful flowers are grouped in sessile bouquets, that is to say that the flowers appear grouped directly on the bark of the tree and the branches.

Clumps of two to eight flowers measuring 1 centimeter long in deep crimson red, purple, pink or white colors bloom in March April before the leaves appear.

Bronze-colored leaves when young turn light yellow in fall. They are pointed and measure 6 to 10 centimeters.
