Small majestic tree with a bushy silhouette and a rounded crown. It is undemanding, both in terms of the exposure you offer it and the type of soil where you plant it.
The leaves, oval, wide, bright green, glossy, reach 10cm long. Foliage turns red or yellow in fall and persists through winter.
From May, it bears small, very fragrant, creamy-white flowers.
