Description:
It is an evergreen tree, devoid of thorns, which can measure from six to twenty meters high. The twigs are superficially streaked; all parts are covered with fine down, growth areas are golden and hairy.

The leaves are dark olive-green, finely hairy, bipinnate, the leaflets are short (1.5 – 4 mm) and abundant.

The flowers are pale yellow or cream, the heads globose. The fruits are dark brown, finely hairy pods with constricted areas.
