Common variety of the pomegranate tree, it reaches a height of between 3 and 4 meters. It likes all ordinary soils.

It offers a bushy habit. Its foliage is deciduous, dark green, very colorful in the fall.

Flowering extends from May to August. The pomegranate tree is covered with a multitude of bright orange-red flowers. The flowers are nectariferous and polliniferous, they irresistibly attract insects.

This shrub produces red fruits, pomegranates, which are edible. From it we draw the grenadine syrup. Fruiting occurs in summer.
