Description:

The upright flowers of this variety resemble a rose and are yellow in color. The plant blooms all summer in a profusion of trumpet-shaped flowers.

The flowering period extends from May-June until frost. The flowers are 12 to 20 centimeters long and give off a pleasant smell in the evening and early morning.

The leaves are oval, wide, dark green in color and 25 centimeters long and 20 centimeters wide. The fruits have a size of 5 to 7cm in diameter and covered with a fuzz of slender prickles.

The datura loses its foliage in winter but the plant will come back the following spring.

Be careful because all varieties of Datura are toxic and poisonous.
