Description:

This perennial grass, cortaderia selloana pink, is grown for its ornamental qualities. The plant forms a compact clump spreading over about 3 meters.

These leaves are arching evergreen 2 to 3 meters long, medium green, glaucous.

In September and until frost, silky pink feathers appear on upright stems, in pyramidal panicles 45 to 90cm long.

Rapidly growing, this plant reveals its splendor at the edge of a water plant or isolated on a lawn but also in the background of a massif for example. The plant is resistant to temporary drought, wind and temperatures of -20°C. All soil types are suitable for Pampas grass, but it prefers well-drained soil. In addition, it is very resistant to all diseases and parasites.
