Description:

Native to South Africa, it is a beautiful plant for coastal gardens.

This Aloe is a single-stemmed plant with giant spiny-edged leaves that curve outward and downward like fleshy arches.

The sturdy inflorescences with their racemes of bright yellow flowers appear in June and July and it is one of the few Aloes that will withstand wet conditions. Protected in cold weather by a wintering veil, it will spend the winter without any problem.
