Description:
Palm native to the interior of Madagascar where it grows along rivers and streams.
Massive palm tree, it has a very straight, conical and ringed solitary trunk with a gray color. The base of the trunk is wide then the diameter decreases as it rises. The leaves are glossy, deep green palms with a very jagged appearance.
It produces dark orange to bright red fruits.
It is a palm that prefers a humid and sunny exposure to develop quickly. It tolerates different types of soil. The seeds germinate in two or three months.
