Description:
In the open ground it is a small tree, the bark of which falls from the trunk and reveals a smooth gray, whitish or gray-pink surface. The bark is rough. The leaves are petiolate, lanceolate 19-8.5 cm long, dull green. White flowers appear in fall through mid-winter.
The tree can reach a height of 10 meters but lends itself well to bonsai cultivation.
