Description:

Coffea arabica is a plant that comes from African regions and is cultivated in many parts of the world.

The Costa Rica variety is a compact variety adapted to the hot tropical climate and particularly acidic soils. This variety is used in Central America and in the warmer regions.

This variety offers the same characteristics as the ”common” coffea arabica: evergreen foliage, oval and shiny leaves, a white bloom of fragrant flowers in bouquets. Then appear red berries turning black and containing two small seeds.

At maturity this plant has a height between 5 and 8 meters but supports the size without problem and offers a more compact habit.

This plant can be grown both in the ground and in pots.
