This shrub can reach the size of 8 meters in its area of origin. It is particularly adapted to drought, in very hot years it can produce no leaves but as soon as the weather becomes rainy it blooms with its light foliage similar to mimosa and flowers in superb yellow clusters.
This beautiful shrub can be planted alone along a sunny wall in the hottest regions (south of France), a supply of fertilizer every two weeks in spring and summer in cold regions.
