Description:

A stunning plant native to the foothills of the Himalayas and western China, the Cobra Lily resembles a snake.

Its leaves are webbed and shiny. In summer, it produces a green-colored inflorescence and has a long tip that grows straight like an i. The foliage dies in winter and the plant hibernates as a rhizome, which allows it to withstand very severe frosts. For optimal growth, the plant should be placed away from direct light.

This Arisaema grows well and is a delight for collectors because it is rare in the trade.
