Description:
Common Maple is a deciduous tree with an upright habit and a narrow crown. Its leaves are oval or slightly rounded and are composed of 5 lobes 6 centimeters long.

Flowering takes on dimension in the spring with the appearance of umbels of green flowers that are particularly melliferous. The flowers are followed by flat-winged fruits that turn red when ripe. The bark is very light and cracked forming corky scales.

The foliage is light green and turns intense yellow in the fall.

You can easily recognize the field maple in the middle of nature because the sap exudes from its leaves.

Its wood is used in sculpture.

This tree is to be used as an isolated ornamental piece in the garden. Supporting pruning very well, it is also widely used to form low hedges.
